If you live in a co-op, please verify with your building management that the receiver is not locked. If it is, you will not be able to program your new Prastel TC4E remote.

ATTENTION: The inscription “PRASTEL TC4E” is written on the back of your remote control. If you see no inscription, so it’s a copier remote control. if you see the inscription "SURETE 2000" on the back of the casing, then it is a copier remote control which is not compatible with the model displayed here. If you see this inscription, then you will have to install a radio receiver. 

WARNING: Some remotes have yellow or red buttons - they are not compatible!

The 4 button hand transmitter can support all PRASTEL receivers and 433,920 MHz frequency transmitters.

Note: This is not a “universal copier remote control”, so it can not be copied in the receiver and is a Rolling code type and not a fixed code one. Only fixed code transmitters can be copied with “copier remotes” without passing through the receiver. 

PRASTEL TC4E 4-button remote control with a modern design, it is powered by a long lithium battery life 3V battery type CR2032. A distance up to 100 meters, and a range up to 100 meters free field, local conditions can influence the range of the remote control !

Good to know

If you have a problem with your transmitter, it is possible that the registration function from the remote control is disabled in the receiver. In such case, it will be required to involve the guardian or the syndic, because you will need to access to the internal drive of the receiver. 

NOTE: If you live in a residential condominium unit, this gate opener may fail to initialize, so please consult the installer for more information on this issue. However, no need to worry if you live in an individual house because the installation will not be blocked.

The Prastel key fob is available in 2 buttons PRASTEL TC2E or in 4 buttons, but only in one colour which is black.

Ergonomics

Prastel TC4E remote control is only 50 mm long, a width of 30 mm and a thickness of 12 mm - 30g. Its small and reduced size makes it very simple to handle and easy to use, it may be used as a key chain along with car keys. Important steps of the programming

Programming of your new remote control:

There are two ways for programming your new remote control

1- With an already programmed remote control: 

• Go closer at one meter to your motor and press simultaneously the two top buttons of your already programmed remote control.

• When the LED lights up, press simultaneously the two top buttons of your programmed remote. The LED flashes slowly when it stays lit, release the buttons.

• Then press the button you wish to program on your new remote, for 2 seconds.

• Wait 10 seconds, your new remote control is programmed.

2- Receiver-based programming:

ATTENTION: keeping the programming button of your receiver pressed down too long, will erase the programming code of all the remote controls that have already been programmed

• Open the case of your receiver located next to your motor. Press the programming button MEMO on the receiver board, until the LED on the receiver flashes.

• Press the button you wish to program on your new remote control and keep it pressed down. The LED on the receiver blinks then remains constantly.

• Let the button go, the LED on the receiver turns off.

• Wait 10 seconds, your remote control is programmed.
