If you're looking for a reliable replacement or additional handset for a CAME-operated gate or garage door, the TOP44RBN (product code 806TS-0270) is a four-channel rolling code transmitter built specifically for the CAME automation range.

The rolling code system

Operating at 433.92 MHz, it uses rolling code encryption, meaning every signal it sends is unique, drawn from a pool of over 4.29 billion combinations, so a copied or intercepted transmission can never be reused to gain access to your property. This is considerably more secure than the fixed-code remotes fitted to many older installations still found across UK driveways.

The handset

One handset, four channels: that's the practical appeal of the CAME TOP44RBN. Rather than juggling separate fobs for the driveway gate, a side pedestrian gate, the garage door and outdoor lighting, this single remote control handles all four from your key ring or glovebox.

CAME specifies an operating range of up to 150 metres for the TOP44RBN in open conditions, generous enough to open the gate as you approach along the driveway rather than having to stop at the entrance. As with all CAME transmitters on the 433.92 MHz band, compatibility depends on your existing control panel or receiver supporting rolling code reception, typically via the plug-in 1001AF43S radio card or the rolling-code self-learning setting (parameter U8).

Most CAME installations fitted in the last decade will support this out of the box.
The remote runs on a single CR2032 3V lithium button cell, replaceable by prising off the upper casing with a small screwdriver, no special tools needed.

Programming

Programming a new TOP44RBN onto your gate is done entirely without opening the control panel: stand within 5 metres of the gate, hold down the matching button on a transmitter that's already working for 15 seconds until the LED stops flashing and stays lit, then press the equivalent button on the new remote for about 3 seconds to complete the pairing.

Rated for outdoor use, the CAME TOP44RBN 806TS-0270 remote control is a straightforward, weatherproof way to keep every family member and every access point covered.
